A pioneering project in the USA, Unity University aims to bring together global wisdom and holistic education for the next generation of leaders.

Vision:

To be a global beacon in the academic development, preservation, dissemination, and advancement of Neo-Vedanta and integral traditions in Yoga. 

We envision fostering a profound understanding and appreciation of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, alongside the major allied Dharmas of the East—Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism—along with Yoga and Ayurveda. 

Our ultimate goal is to harmoniously blend spiritual wisdom with academic excellence, nurturing enlightened leaders and compassionate practitioners dedicated to the holistic well-being of humanity.

The University of Neo-Vedantic and Integral Traditions in Yoga (UNITY) is dedicated to:

  1. Academic Excellence: Providing comprehensive and rigorous academic programs that explore Neo-Vedanta, Yoga, and the allied Dharmas of the East, fostering intellectual and spiritual growth.
  2. Cultural Preservation: Preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Yoga, and Ayurveda through scholarly research, publications, and educational initiatives.
  3. Global Dissemination: Extending the reach of our teachings and practices globally, making them accessible to diverse communities, and fostering a worldwide appreciation for these ancient traditions.
  4. Spiritual Integration: Cultivate a harmonious blend of spiritual wisdom and academic rigor, ensuring that students receive a balanced education that nurtures both the mind and the spirit.

We shall have six colleges under this university. Each college at UNITY is dedicated to preserving and advancing the knowledge of these ancient traditions while integrating modern scientific and psychological insights, fostering a holistic and enlightened approach to education.

Adi Shankaracharya College of Hinduism Named after Adi Shankaracharya, the great philosopher and theologian who consolidated the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta in Hinduism.

Mahavira College of Jainism Named after Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara and a major propagator of Jainism.

Gautama College of Buddhism Named after Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism whose teachings form the core of the religion.

Guru Nanak Dev College of Sikhism Named after Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus.

Patanjali College of Yoga Named after Sage Patanjali, the ancient sage who authored the Yoga Sutras and is considered the father of modern yoga.

Charaka College of Ayurveda Named after Charaka, one of the principal contributors to Ayurveda and the author of the Charaka Samhita, a foundational text on Ayurveda.

Adi Shankaracharya College of Hinduism At Adi Shankaracharya College of Hinduism, we offer comprehensive graduate and Ph.D. programs focused on the science, psychology, and philosophy of Hinduism. Our curriculum delves into the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, and the rich tapestry of Hindu thought, providing students with a profound understanding of its ancient wisdom and contemporary relevance.

  1. Mahavira College of Jainism Mahavira College of Jainism provides advanced studies in the principles and practices of Jainism. Through our graduate and Ph.D. programs, students explore the core tenets of non-violence, karma theory, and spiritual liberation, guided by the teachings of Lord Mahavira. Our courses are designed to integrate Jain philosophy with modern scientific and psychological perspectives.
  2. Gautama Buddha College of Buddhism At Gautama Buddha College of Buddhism, we offer graduate and Ph.D. programs that encompass the profound teachings of the Buddha. Our academic courses include the study of Buddhist philosophy, psychology, ethics, and meditation practices. Students are encouraged to engage in scholarly research and practical application of Buddhist principles in contemporary society.
  3. Guru Nanak College of Sikhism Guru Nanak College of Sikhism offers in-depth graduate and Ph.D. programs that explore the rich spiritual and philosophical heritage of Sikhism. Our curriculum includes the study of the Guru Granth Sahib, Sikh history, and the principles of equality, service, and devotion. We aim to foster a deep understanding of Sikh teachings and their application in today’s world.
  4. Patanjali College of Yoga Patanjali College of Yoga provides graduate and Ph.D. programs dedicated to the study and practice of Yoga. Our courses cover the Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, and the therapeutic applications of Yoga. Students gain expertise in both the theoretical and practical aspects of Yoga, preparing them for careers in teaching, research, and holistic health.
  5. Charaka College of Ayurveda At Charaka College of Ayurveda, we offer graduate and Ph.D. programs that delve into the ancient science of Ayurveda. Our curriculum includes the study of Ayurvedic medicine, herbal pharmacology, dietetics, and preventive health. Students learn to integrate traditional Ayurvedic practices with modern scientific research, promoting holistic wellness and healing.
